Seriously, where's the replay button?!

I could use one right now. So that I could just hear and see one more time, Jamie Cullum live, a capella, jumping up and down, stumbling after receiving a flower bouquet, saying he was 'bewildered' by the gesture.

True I'm nearsighted AND I was a bit far from the stage but we could hear Jamie loud and clear! I must say I never quite imagined an artist could go so far while performing live. But Jamie or as Márcia said 'Jaime' (our Portuguese name translation) promissed we would have a good time and we did. I think It's safe to say that the entire Coliseu agrees with me. Not only he sang new songs from his latest album, he also performed past hits, most of them with a twist.

My heart went to 'Photograph', 'Frontin' (Jamie did a one-man-show with this one!), 'These Are The Days', 'Cry Me a River' and 'Mixtape'. AHHH! Also, 'Gran Torino', truly the Oscar-material!

Yes, I was there!

But I got there late so, unfortunalety, I didn't get the chance to hear Mariza perform.

Ivete Sangalo, as always, was very sweet to the audience and a force of nature when it comes to sing and dance - all at the same time. This is a singer that can get you to jump, up and down, even if you're having stomach ache.

And at last Mr. Mayer decided to pay a visit to his Portuguese fans. I surely hope those two hours were enough to change his mind when, in the future, he set on another European tour. His concert really changed my idea about live perfomances. I'm much fonder of them now, especially after hearing his guitar solo on 'Gravity' - it is way cooller than the album version!

Shakira? I must confess I do like Shakira a lot, but not when she is perfoming live. No sir.

no meio de tantas andanças e km percorridos ainda deu pa ouvir Buraka Som Sistema, mas foi fora do recinto que pagar 10€ para estar 15metros mais perto do palco não nos pareceu bem. de ressalvar o jantar de frango de churrasco numa varanda com vista para o mercado e o jardim da Manga, o jogo de cartas e a companhia.

a música foi escrita como tributo aos amigos de Janet que morreram com SIDA. lembro-me deste video porque na altura, quando apareceu, tinha uma temática que ainda não tinha visto ser retratada num video de música: a selva lol combinado com isso ainda misturava coreografia, animais vivos e cenários gerados por computador. estavamos em 1998, mt à frente não acham?

no supermarcado:

"S: ihhhhh tulicreme!!!! há bués que não como tulicreme!! vamos levar?

chegada à padaria:

"C: se faz favor, tem pão de mistura? eram quatro sff"

ou seja... ah e tal tulicreme não faz parte da dieta mas talvez se comeres pão de mistura com tulicreme já não seja tão mal como comer tulicreme com panrico... não?

outras incongruências que tal: Big Tasty com água, chá dos Açores (sem açúcar) com Oreo, iogurte 0% com biscoito de chocolate...

isto de teenagers inconscientes... dá nisto. agora olha, já está... e que bem que sabe!

stockmarket

fiquei tão chateada quando, no domingo, cheguei à bilheteira do Centro de Congressos de Lisboa para ir ao StockMarket e uma senhora abordou-nos e perguntou se queríamos dois convites para entrar que ela não ia usar...! ó se fiquei!.... =P

The rebound girl. Or boy.

No, this has nothing to do with basketball.

We all know they're out there. Most of us has already been in the situation of being them or benefiting from their affection. They are here for some reason right? But what if you're with someone and you don't want to be that rebound girl/boy?

Can we draw the line between the bad period and the OK period to start a new relationship? I'll let you know if I ever get to a conclusion on this subject.
